MINGO COUNTY A woman faces multiple charges after she fought with a deputy and attempted to barricade herself into a home.

That deputy with the Mingo County Sheriff's Department responded to a home at Jennies Creek concerning a reportedly stolen Tennessee vehicle. The officer located the vehicle and inquired about it at the residence.

According to a complaint in Mingo County Magistrate Court, 33-year-old Kelly Marie Webb, of Cookeville, Tenn., gave a false name and attempted to barricade herself inside the home when asked to step outside.

Webb resisted the officers attempts to take her into custody after the officer made entry into the home.

Webb was charged with transferring stolen property, two counts obstructing an officer and battery on an officer.
