The City of Pikeville Commission approved Wright Companies plan to lease and develop a second speculative building at the Kentucky Industrial Park to serve as company headquarters. The park’s first speculative building is currently leased a truck manufacturer.
Wright Companies plan to move their corporate office and mixed materials plant to the park from West Virginia once construction on the building is finished.
Wright has reportedly added 250 jobs to the area and has plans to add at least 60 more jobs in the future.
Pikeville was awarded an Abandoned Mine Land grant for construction of the second building at the park a year ago.
