The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 261 new cases of coronavirus in the state as of Wednesday morning.
Four deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 2,767 West Virginians has died due to complications from the coronavirus.
W.Va. active cases are down with 5,983 total active cases.
Today’s infection rate is 5.12%.
Hospital cases now stand at 210 patients with 78 of those patients in ICU and 35 patients needing a vent.
Fully vaccinated residents make up 39.3% of the eligible population and 47.4% of the population have received at least one shot
