WV DHHR Reports 7 Deaths & 78 New Infections Wed.

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported seven COVID-19 related deaths and 78 new positive cases of the virus Wednesday morning.

Today’s daily positive percentage test rate improved from Tuesday’s 2.37% to Wednesday’s 1.65%.

On the County alert map, all counties are green with four exceptions.

Webster County is gold.

Cabell, Putnam and Morgan counties are yellow.

W.Va. has 987 active cases of COVID-19.
