Zero deaths reported in last 24-hours in W.Va.


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported no additional deaths in the last 24 hours.


Since the onset of the outbreak, a total of 2,300 West Virginians have succumbed to COVID-19.


Statewide, 225 Mountain State residents are hospitalized for coronavirus.


Fifty-nine patients are in ICU, and 30 patients are on vents.


As of Monday morning, 193 new infections were confirmed through laboratory testing.


W.Va. has 6,997 active cases of COVID-19.


Today’s daily positive infection rate is 4.39%.


According to the color-coded map released this morning by the state DHHR, 23 counties are green.

Fourteen counties are yellow including Logan, Lincoln, and Wyoming.


Thirteen counties are gold including Mingo and Wayne.


Five counties are orange including Boone.


No counties are red.
