101st COVID Death Reported In Logan


The Logan County Health Department reported the one hundred first death due to COVID-19 Thursday.


Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of an 85-year-old female due to complications from coronavirus. To date, 101 Logan Countians have succumbed to the virus.


A total 168 new cases of the virus has been confirmed through laboratory testing since Friday. Thirty-seven cases were confirmed this afternoon.


Logan has 248 active cases, 3,596 recoveries and 101 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,945 cases of COVID-19


Eighteen people are hospitalized.


The health department will conduct coronavirus testing Friday at the Logan Resource Center at Peach Creek. Testing will be available between noon and five o’clock

I.D. is required and those under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present.
