Two women were arrested on felony drug warrants

Amy Bowen of Paintsville and Vicki Nelson-Jones of Prichard were arrested by the Drug Enforcement Unit following a traffic stop, according to Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson.

Bowen

Bowen was wanted for conspiracy to distribute five to 50 grams of methamphetamine. She was also charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, obstructing and possession of a controlled substance.

Nelson-Jones

Jones was wanted for felony possession of methamphetamine andfaces an additional charge of felony possession of methamphetamine.

Additional meth was seized during the stop.
