The Logan County Health Department reported three deaths due to COVID-19 Monday.

Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the additional deaths set the county’s death toll at 100 residents that have succumbed to coronavirus. The deaths include an 80-year-old female and two males ages a 57 and 67 have succumbed to complications from coronavirus.

In total, 55 new cases of the virus was discovered through laboratory testing since Friday.

Logan has 217 active cases, 3,515 recoveries and 100 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,832 cases of COVID-19

Fifteen people are hospitalized.
