A warrant round up in Pikeville Wednesday netted nine suspected drug offenders.

Police in Pikeville say a drug investigation has lasted at least six months.

Kevin Adams, Justin Bryant, Tommy Cecil, Faith Hamilton, Scott Hurley, Robert Kaylor, James Morgan, Audrey Skeens and Michael Slone were arrested Wednesday.

Charges include possession, trafficking and assault on an officer.

Pikeville police say the sweep of arrests for drugs Wednesday is only the beginning.
