As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 15,557 active cases of coronavirus. Today’s report is good news for the Mountain State. There are 200 less new cases today than on Friday. Active cases are also down by 2,000 since Friday.
Today’ daily positive infection rate is up compared to the start of last weekend. On Friday, West Virginia’s daily positivity rate was 4.26%. Today, the rate is 5.73%.
Two deaths were reported over the last 24-hours. Since the onset of the outbreak, 2,131 West Virginians have succumbed to coronavirus. Thirty-one people have died since Friday.
