Chapmanville rolls at Lincoln County

HAMLIN   Class AAA No. 6 Chapmanville jumped out to a 28-9 first quarter lead and never looked back on its way to an 82-51 victory over Lincoln County Friday night.

Joey Gollihue led Chapmanville with 16 points. Jay Brock had 12, Braxton Brock had nine off the bench, Colton Brock eight and Benji Adkins seven for the Tigers.

Chapmanville led 37-17 at halftime and extended its lead to 68-37 after three quarters.

Eli Smith led Lincoln County with 19 points and Isaac Bird had nine.

Lincoln County (1-8) is back in action Wednesday night at Sissonville.

Chapmanville (6-3) hosts Class AA No. 2 Logan Saturday night.
