Kroger employees ratified a new three-year deal, the company and union announced Saturday.
The United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 400 and Kroger reached the agreement a week ago to avert a possible strike. The new contract includes raises, health care benefits, and no increase in prescription drug costs maximums.
Union members previously rejected an offer that included modest increases starting in January 2022.
The agreement affects 4,200 Kroger employees at 40 store locations.
