ALUM CREEK A man was shot at Alum Creek over the weekend.
Lincoln County Emergency Services confirmed the man was shot the morning of Saturday, Septmeber 19 at Tom’s Fork Road. The man left the scene of the shooting under his own power and walked to a gas station. He was transported from the station to the hospital by ambulance.
West Virginia State Police said the man shot is a 27-year-old man shot at a suspect’s residence with a .22 caliber.
No update on the extent of injuries.
Troopers say the incident is still under investigation.
