Logan Confirms 2 New Cases of COVID-19

The Logan County Health Department confirmed 2 cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.

As of noon, Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed 2 new cases of the virus.

Wednesday’s numbers are only partial due to the testing event conducted at the former 84 Lumber location at Peach Creek. The health department collected samples for testing from over 50 individuals during the first hour of testing this morning.

Logan County has 78 active cases of the virus, 559 recoveries, and 42 fatalities for a cumulative total of 679 cases of coronavirus.

Fifteen people are hospitalized.
