
The Logan County Health Department confirmed two deaths and eight new case of COVID-19 Sunday.
As of noon Sunday, Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed a 62-year-old female and 77-year-old male have succumbed to the virus.
A total of 8 new case of the virus were confirmed through laboratory testing since Friday.
Logan County has 90 active cases of the virus, 492 recoveries, and 41 fatalities for a cumulative total of 623 cases of coronavirus.
Twenty-two people are hospitalized.
Free COVID-19 testing will be conducted in Logan this Wednesday at the former 84 Lumber building at Peach Creek between 10am and 2pm.
There will no charge for a test.
Insurance is not required.
Attendees should bring identification and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Testing is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
