Logan Health Dept. Taking Appointments for the COVID-19 Vaccine for 80 and Older

The Logan County Health Department is currently taking appointments for individuals aged 80 and older to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

Health Department Director Steve Browning said Logan County currently has the Moderna vaccine and is expecting more doses to arrive this week.

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice directed the national guard to establish vaccination clinics at locations throughout the state.

Once vaccines are available at the locations, they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

To make an appointment for a vaccine injection, call the Logan County Health Department at 304-792-8630.
