Logan Is Going To State Baseball Tourney


The Logan Wildcats pushed through Wednesday night with a victory over the Point Pleasant Black Knights, 10-0.


The series was divided with a win each. The Big Blacks picked up the initial win of the series, but Logan came back with two straight victories to earn a trip to the state tournament for the first time in over a decade.


The win goes to pitcher Jarron Glick who allowed three hits, two walks and earned six strike outs.


Logan’s batting was on point with twelve hits and 10 runs to mercy Point Pleasant in the sixth inning.


The Wildcats first game of the Class AA state tournament is next Friday, June 25
