Logan is Green Today, According to WV DHHR Color Map


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 560 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Thursday morning, West Virginia has 5,892 active cases of coronavirus.

Since the onset of the outbreak, 480 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. Eight deaths were reported in the last 24-hours.


Today’s daily positive infection rate is 3.94%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released this morning, Mingo County is in the “red” category.


Lincoln, Wayne and Wyoming County are gold.


Boone County is Yellow.


Logan and McDowell County are green.


West Virginia has 26,547 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
