LOGAN A Mercer County woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a single-car accident on state Route 10 between Logan and Man.
West Virginia State Police said Maria Ann Ellis, 26, of Rock, W.Va., was traveling southbound around 2 p.m. Thursday when she went off the left side of the road striking a concrete barrier.
Ellis' vehicle traveled across both southbound lanes of traffic and went off the right side of the road before rolling over several times.
State Police confirm that Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene and there were no additional injuries reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
