Mingo and Wayne in the "Orange" and Wyoming in "Red" According to WV DHHR Map


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 226 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, West Virginia has 5,113 active cases.


Since the onset of the outbreak, 408 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. Nine deaths were reported in the last 24-hours.


Today’s daily positive infection rate is 3.01%


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Tuesday morning, Mingo and Wayne counties continue to be in the orange.


Boone County is in the “gold” category.


Logan County is yellow.


Lincoln and McDowell counties are green.


Wyoming County is the only county in red.


West Virginia has 20,519 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
