A Mingo County woman faces charges in connection with an animal cruelty case.
Over the weekend, the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office seized dozens of cats from a home in Delbarton.
According to Mingo County Deputy T.J. Justice, some of the cats were running loose and some were caged – all were malnourished.
Pitiful Paws Rescue seized more than 80 cats from the home, not including the deceased cats that were removed from the home.
Glenna Faye Addair of Delbarton was arrested in the case and faces two felony animal cruelty charges.
The animals are being cared for by the animal rescue groups.
