Early voting ended Saturday in West Virginia.
Voters have been voting for the last two weeks at the county commission building in downtown Logan. At times, the line stretched down Stratton Street to the front of the former Gordman’s Department store.
As of the close of polls Saturday, Logan County Clerk’s office totaled 2,831 early votes.
West Virginia voters are permitted to vote absentee due to the coronavirus outbreak.
As of 5 o’clock Saturday evening, the clerk’s office processed 1,155 ballots cast in absentia.
More than two dozen absentee votes remain to be processed, but voters may still vote absentee if ballots are post-marked by this Tuesday.
As of this reporting, a total of 3,986 Logan County residents have already voted.
Election Day for the General Election is Tuesday, November 3rd.
