ResCare Community Living of West Virginia announced donations to local food banks.
ResCare Community Living donated $45,000 to local food banks throughout the state. ResCare presented $5,000 checks to organizations in the nine communities of ResCare operations.
ResCare donated to the following organizations:
Claypool United Methodist Church in Davin
Old Man Rivers Mission in Parkersburg
Operation Compassion in Princeton
Upshur Cooperative Parish in Buckhannon
Faith in Action in Keyser
Union Rescue Mission in Fairmont
Dunbar Primary School in Dunbar
Facing Hunger Food Bank in Huntington
Fishes and Loaves in Beckley
ResCare Community Living has had a presence in West Virginia for more than 20 years, providing care and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
ResCare and its 82 operations across the country are committed to donating over $400,000 to local food banks nationwide before the end of the year.
