Sobriety checkpoint scheduled for Thursday night in Logan

LOGAN COUNTY The West Virginia State Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this Thursday in Logan.

The checkpoint will take place between SIX o’clock and midnight at Deskins Addition. An alternate checkpoint has been designated as WV Route 73.

According to a press release from the Logan Detachment of state police, The checkpoint’s primary focus is DUI enforcement. State police will also be focused on reckless driving, speeding, and seat belt violations.
