Two women arrested for meth, heroin & fentanyl in Logan

LOGAN The West Virginia State Police arrested two women at a Stratton Street apartment on the east end of the City of Logan Thursday.


Troopers obtained a search warrant due to a prior drug investigation involving 39-year-old Amber Faye Jude and 34-year-old Katrina Lashae Fender.


According to the complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate Court, the women were discovered in the bedroom while executing the warrant. Allegedly Fender and Jude had distribution amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Moreover, distribution amounts of heroin and fentanyl were discovered in a vehicle owned by one of the apartment’s occupants.


Fender and Jude were each charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, heroin and meth. The duo was also charged with conspiracy.


Logan County Magistrate Joe Mendez arraigned the women and placed a $100,000 cash only bonds on each defendant.
