W.Va. reports one red county & 30 additional deaths from COVID-19


According to the county alert map released by the Department of Health and Human Resources, West Virginia has one red county.


Webster County is the only red county in the state. Twelve counties are orange including Boone, Logan and Lincoln counties. Ten counties are yellow including Mingo and Wayne. The 32 other counties are green.


An additional 376 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today by the DHHR.


West Virginia has 5,349 active cases of coronavirus.


Thirty West Virginians have died in the last 24 hours. Since the onset of the outbreak, 2,600 people in the Mountain State have succumbed to coronavirus.
