Wyoming Remains "Red"; Boone, Mingo & Wayne "Orange" According to WV DHHR Map


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 323 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Thursday morning, West Virginia has 4,473 active cases.


Since the onset of the outbreak, 418 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. Five deaths were reported in the last 24-hours.


Today’s daily positive infection rate is 2.73%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Thursday morning, Mingo and Wayne counties continue to be in the orange. Boone reached “orange” status today.


Logan is Yellow. Lincoln and McDowell counties are green.


Wyoming County is the only county in red.


West Virginia has 21,057 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
