Zack Maynard appointed to serve in 7th District Senate seat

CHARLESTON Governor Patrick Morrisey has appointed a former House of Delegates member to an open state Senate seat representing parts of Logan, Boone, Lincoln and Kanawha counties.

Zack Maynard has been appointed to take the seat left vacant following the resignation of former Senator Mike Stuart after Stuart was confirmed by the US Senate to be the General Counsel for the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Maynard served three terms in the House from 2016 to 2022. Maynard is from Harts.
